There are "many a way" to travel and one of the most exciting ways to do so is on a motorbike, with the wind in your hair and road ahead, you can experience nature first hand one a motorcycle. The advantage of biking is one can access remote (off road) places and experience the thrill and adventure of biking.. two wheels is the best way to absorb everything.At Passage Enclave we offer tours where you can either ride your own bike or pillion ride with our experience riders. We use the Royal Enfield 350 cc, it is rugged bike meant for the outdoors and is the only reliable outdoor bike in India.
Below is the road map of a 4 day tour that we organize, the tour can also customize for a long duration depending on the needs of the group. The tour works its way through the hiily terrain of the western ghats, where one can experience the jungles and wild country, after which we get to sea to cool our heels in the beautiful blue waters of the remote coastline of maharashtra.
Here is the route that will span the 4 days of touring ie,. We have careful chosen it to give you a feel of the Western Ghats and also the beautiful coastal Konkan stretch. We shall riding 250 km – 300 kms max a day. We have kept distance covered in each day not above 250 Kms for one to enjoy the ride without fatigue. We do not believe in Rushing about. The ride schedule is flexible and we can change the schedule as per our guest requirements.

Day-1 Early start at 5:30 - 6 a.m.Mumbai- Thane- Panvel -Pen-Kolad - Mahad- Bivardi - Apti-Bhor.We need to leave Mumbai city as early as possible to beat the fuming traffic, which can get pretty difficult at times. From Mumbai to Mahad, it's a National Highway, which is dotted with small villages and field. After that are cross-country small roads till Bhor - serpenting through mountains and forest. 

Bhor, a hilly region, situated on one of the biggest of mountain ranges in Maharashtra i.e. Sahyadri (Western Ghats) and receives heavy rainfall. Most of the area is covered with forest. Sag, Teak, Oak, Mango, are the trees found in these forests. Rabbit, Deer, Wolf, Fox, Tiger and Leopards are the wild animals found in this area. Peacock, Bulbul, Parrot are some of the birds found in this area. We can decide on the campsite and camp the night at Bhor.
Day 2 Wai - Panchgani - Mahablehwar - Poladpur-Khed - Jalgaon - Dhabol - Ganpatipule Mahableshwar is a hill station about 4500 feet above sea level. It is
evevrgreen and the climate cool through out the year. Morning swim if wanted can be done at Panchgani lake. We shall descended the western ghats to the national highway at Poladpur . From Jalgaon we shall cut to the coast. From Dhabol to Ganpatipule is the coastal route with nice forest cover. To reach Ganpatiphule we may have to ferry across a beautiful bay. We shall Camp the night at Ganpatipule.Day-3A relaxed day at Ganpatipule Beach, exploring the place.We shall be camping 50 kms
before Ganpatiphule at place called Jaighad. Here there are virgin beaches and old British light house w
hich is still very well maintained. The landscapes are beautiful with winding roads, palm trees and blue waters. We shall camp on the beach, where swim and a riding the waves with a dinge can be done. The nights are amazing with star filled skies.
In the evening we ride to Guhagar. (optional) or sepnd the night at Ganpatiphule.

Date-4Guhaghar- Chiplun - Mahad - Panvel – Mumbai Early start 7 a.m.This will be the return journey. A little hectic. May have to ride about 300 kms. We shall reach Mumbai late evening depending on the trafficWhile riding wear thin cotton pants or even track pants are ideal for long distance riding, avoid jeans or thick pants that may be uncomfortable for sitting for a long time, a jacket is a must, nights will be cold. Sun glasses are a must, Suntan Lotion if needed, Insect repellent a must.Minimal amount of luggage in terms of clothes and personal belongings is advisable.The western Ghats – bhor will get cold during the night, but the costal route can get pretty hot during the day.
